Julie Meyer

Julie Meyer is a female business and entrepreneurial force known for consistently and systematically building system-level solutions that solve the challenges of society and industry by putting the entrepreneur at the heart of both.

Meyer has led successful investment activity in the European ecosystem, building several businesses and working with some of the leading entrepreneurs in Europe over the past 20 years – helping them create game-changing, category-defining businesses.

She pioneered the “Entrepreneurs Backing Entrepreneurs” model for the financing of entrepreneurship. Based on that model, Meyer founded Ariadne Capital Limited (ACL), which backed explosive growth companies early including Monitise, SpinBox, Skype, Zopa, and others.

Meyer also founded EntrepreneurCountry (EC), a global community of 325,000 digital citizens which enables individuals to build their personal economies. Her book, Welcome to EntrepreneurCountry, is an award-winning business book published by Little Brown.

Meyer is the creator of the Ecosystem Economics® (r) Digital Playbook, for which she was honoured with a prestigious honorary PhD from Warwick University. She received her MBA at INSEAD, where she now sits on the Board of Directors and was named one of their top 50 alumni.

 

René
Eichenberger

Dr. René Eichenberger, Executive Chairman, is one of the world’s leading fund entrepreneurs, having ignited the venture capital ecosystem in the Southeast US in 1998 with Crossbow Ventures, the largest first-time VC fund at the time. He later co-founded or served on the boards of several additional funds and emerging growth companies, including Horizon21 Private Equity; ClearSky Power and Technology Fund, with NextEra, the world’s largest producer of Wind and Solar Energy, as a strategic partner; Advisory Board, Sterling Partners; Vice Chairman at Acron, a leading international real estate investment company; co-founder and Vice Chairman Pulse Evolution (now FUBO TV, $1bn market cap); current board member at Drive Software Solutions, a leading fleet management company, and at SPICE VC, the world’s first fully tokenized venture capital fund. He holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Zurich, is a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute, and holds a post-graduate degree from Stanford University.

John R. Porter

John Robert Porter is Founder and Chairman of SinoCare. At the age of 25, he co founded VeriFone, which he built as a start-up to US$ 600 million revenues, before its sale to Hewlett Packard. Porter is also a co-founder of GPS, a Paris based retail group that created the leading super optical chain in Europe. He is on the Board of AML Analytics, a compliance firm as well as being an early investor in Adyen, the listed payments firm He serves as President of Earth Focus Foundation, a Geneva based charity. 

Porter has served on the Advisory Council of the Graduate School of Business, Stanford, and serves on the Advisory Council of Said Business School, Oxford. He is a graduate of Oxford University, UK, the Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Paris and Stanford University, USA.

Richard Parris

Richard Parris is Adviser and Founder Shareholder at VIVA Investment Partners. Richard is passionate about building great businesses, developing people and creating value. He is a proven entrepreneur with 20 years’ experience as a public company chairman. Richard founded and was Chairman and CEO of the Intercede Group, an UK/US cybersecurity software company, listed on the London Stock Exchange. Currently, Richard is the Executive Chairman of Sabien Technology Group plc, public-listed company focused on green technology, and is the Chairman of Drive Software Systems, an automotive fleet management and mobility service provider. He is also the CEO of Salt Cybersecurity Ltd, the European subsidiary of an Australian cybersecurity business. Richard is a graduate of the University of Manchester, holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and is a Registered Engineer.

Rob-Roy Roedel

Rob-Roy Roedel is the COO of VIVA Investment Partners – and uniquely qualified for the position. As the Head of Investments / President of Plenum Investments with hedge fund assets of over $1 bn, Rob-Roy was responsible for investment and risk management, oversight of business development, development of new products with a focus on quantitative strategies and global asset allocation strategies. He also led the economic strategy and forecasting, financial stewardship and financial company reporting at EQUIIS Technologies Switzerland AG, a startup that has brought to market a cohesive, purpose-built End-to-End Secure enterprise communications platform with proven encryption technologies. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and earned a Bachelor of Scien¬ce in Management and German from Carnegie Mellon Univer¬sity. Rob-Roy’s considerable experience focusing on unders¬tanding the needs and objecti¬ves of private business owners and helping them prepare their businesses for outside invest¬ment or sale makes him a phe¬nomenal asset.

Trisha Naidoo

Trisha Naidoo is the Business Development Manager at VIVA Invest¬ment Partners. She holds an Honours degree in Chemical enginee¬ring and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. Her career spans 17 years covering the entire spectrum of global metal and mine develop¬ment, capital projects and operations. Driven by a keen interest in entrepreneurship, green technology and sustainable development, she has recently joined the venture capital industry.

Kimberly Eichenberger

Kimberly Eichenberger is the Marketing Manager of VIVA Invest­ment Partners. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Commu­nications from the University of Applied Sciences in Business Ad­ministration (HWZ) and has nearly 10 years of experience in the field of communications and marketing. Kim has previously worked for numerous large companies of various industries and areas such as retail, events, journalism and management consulting. She is a driven creative thinker fascinated by the concept of bringing transparency to the venture capital industry.

Greta Pappa

Greta Pappa is the Investment Analyst at VIVA Investment Partners. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the University of Leeds and is currently finishing her Master’s Degree in Business Analytics & Strategic Management from the University of Manchester. Having been awarded the best dissertation prize in the U.K. for 2019 for her dissertation on Country of Origin & Brand positioning, Greta loves research and aims to continue conducting research and being data-driven during her professional career. Greta is an ambitious young professional with the goal of combining physics and business to drive more investment into science.
